2022-2023: In December 2022 Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin issued a Memorandum mandating generous time off and travel benefits for servicewomen seeking abortions across state lines. 

 In response to Austin’s unilateral action Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) put a hold on group confirmation of military appointees and candidates for promotion.  Since then, Sen.Tuberville has been subjected to enormous pressure to lift his hold on group confirmations:

 Several senators and the various service secretaries also have aimed fire at Tuberville, instead of pressuring Secretary Austin to change his position.  If Sen. Tuberville backs down on abortion subsidies, demands for free travel expenses and time off for transgender treatments military personnel seeking sex-denying treatments for adults and dependent children will be next. 

The woke Biden Administration has made it clear that “access” in matters of civil rights allows for nothing less:

Wokeness is defined as progressiveness taken to extremes and imposed with coercion, even if it hurts the institution.
